International students studying in School District No. 6 earn credits for applicable classes towards the British Columbia Certificate of Graduation (the globally-recognized Dogwood Diploma). School District No. 6 hosts several groups of international students from partner schools every year. These students arrive in groups ranging in size from 10 - 20 students and generally stay for 1 - 4 weeks. Programs are custom designed to meet the needs of the partner school and may include a mix of ESL instruction, regular classes and extra-curricular activities and trips. Local activities are combined with activities throughout BC and Alberta for a well rounded and complete experience! Camps can be winter, spring, summer or fall. We have winter and spring ski camps, and summer fun camps - Autumn welcomes students to attend a local school and tour this amazing place while still being immersed in our local culture.
